Please educate me on general bass forum

Featured Replies

Seems every post fmgets moved to a different subtitle. I guess general may not be a such thing as can be catorized in something else. Thing is the they are moved to different topics they don't get viewed as much and responded to less. I like this forum but it's frustrating to get things moved and no replies after moved. Does anyone else share this issue?

I've had several moved too . I'll post about fishing vegetation or something not what lures to use and it gets moved to lures and tackle .

It used to bother me but I just carefully select the place to post and take what ever comes.  This is Glenn's site and he and the mods can run it the way they want.  We are only guests.

Hmm...

I move a majority of the posts.  We have "general guidelines" that we follow.

The vast amount of "moved" posts come out of ""General" and are moved to

"Tackle" or "Rods, Reels and Line".

So my apologies. I guess I just need to post in the specific category thanks for your help

"Generally" speaking, most people click the "view new content" link on the upper right, which shows all the latest posts, regardless of what forum they're posted.  So it's a misnomer that a post is viewed more often if it's posted in one forum vs. another.  But we do like to keep a clean house.

So please read the forum descriptions and do your best to post in the appropriate forums.

Thanks!

Glenn
