Hello, have any of you heard or bought anything from Fishing Care Package and if you bought it, what did you think of it? Did you buy it from the Flash Sale that they have?

Seems to be a ton of complaints about them.

Was going to say look up a thread titled subscription tackle services, in the thread they are talking about all the major ones.  A lot of them are saying they have had to call Better Business Bureau on Fishing Care Package for not sending them their stuff they had paid for.  Sorry I would link the thread but don't know how to.

Don't buy from Fishing Care Package. I had a terrible experience. Never again. I don't know how they still even have a website available or how someone is not in jail.

I have seen YouTube reviews where only half the baits were received. After a complaint email the company sent the proper amount and let him keep what he already got.

 

They used to take months to ship their orders. That issue seems to have been resolved.

That review was in January. The vid posted on YouTube from Realistic Fishing was 2 weeks ago.

 

Still a sketchy place. I wouldn't deal with them. Better safe than sorry.

So, five years worth of bad reports, and suddenly in January, it's all okay?  Nope.  Wouldn't touch it.  There are far more trustworthy sources for tackle.

I learned my lesson last year, zero stars if I have to rate them.

I bought a Garcia reel from them yesterday on their one hour hot deal well I’m still waiting to see if I get the reel ,The only thing so far that was hot is how hot they grabbed my money. I will keep my fingers crossed and keep you posted this is 2/26/20 

They’ve had the Revo deal for a couple months now if that’s what you are talking about,(they keep reposting as a 1 hr flash sale) I have been as far as having it my cart twice and but can’t get myself to pull the trigger with such negative feedback. They said weeks ago they would add paypal as a payment method which would make me feel safer but to date they haven’t. 

 

Monkey is riding my back hard but so far I have been able to keep him at bay, at least on this one. 

Just look online and you'll see why not to buy from them.

Don't do it. They're giving my brother the run around, even after his bank got involved directly. He ordered on 1/19. Nothing but smoke and a tracking number that never indicates the shipper received the package. His bank is holding the funds back. If it comes, they'll release them. If not my brother's OK. Too much trouble. Lot's of guys on FB crying about this and what "seems" like bogus testimonials about packages that were received are being posted.

I've seen (literally) dozens of people complaining on Facebook that they never got their Abu reels from that "flash sale".

I ordered a reel from them got my money and no reel and can’t get a reply from them . I would steer clear of them

I have no idea how they are in business.  They have the worst reputation I've ever seen yet somehow are able to continue selling product they don't deliver.

Like a dummy I ordered not one but two of the Garcia flash sale reels.  Been a month and a half ago I have emailed them several times with no response according to Arrive the item shipped in the middle of February but I’ve never got a tracking number or anything. Guess there’s no other way to contact them feel like a big idiot I know when somethings too good to be to be true it is

Best bet - contact your Credit Card company. Mine is very good about reversing charges in this type of case.

I dont know how but I've gotten everything I have ordered, the first thing was 2lb lure bag which I got, 2lbs of soft plastics, lure box then I ordered a 50pc senkos which came demented so they sent me another 50 for free. I did need to email them a couple times to make sure everything was on it's way. Shipping does take a while thought. I dont know how I have gotten everything...

I made the mistake of ordering the two-pack of Wright & McGill rod & reel combos on April 8, 2020 before doing my homework on this company. My tracking number showed them to have finally shipped out on April 28th then to have been delivered n April 30th to Covina, California. I reside in Texas.

I ordered two of the Garcia Revo reels on April 12, 2020 and after several emails, finally got a USPS tracking number on May 5.  Today is May 14 and the tracking info still shows that only a shipping label has been created and that it has not been received by USPS.  I have my Credit Union reversing the charges as I type this.  I guess the old saying still holds true, if the deal is too good to be true it probably is (not true).  The Florida Attorney General BBB website has tons of complaints on this company.  The phone number listed for the company there is 772-214-6199.  I should have done more research BEFORE I ordered.

 

So,what was the price for which reel are you guys talking about?

I'm not trying to sound old and overly set in my ways, but I prefer to order baits that I know I like and know what I'm getting. Of course, I do have a Bass Mafia tackle bag full and some extras in 3700 storage trays in a cabinet too -- not as much as many of you guys, but still a good amount of tackle.
