If your next boat was going to be your last boat, what would it be?

I reckon I have my last boat now, a 2018 Tracker PT190 w/ the 115 Merc.

upon further review, I would keep my G3 so I could keep fishing my tiny state land lakes, and get the Vexus 2080

 

The biggest lake I fish is 201 acres, the smallest about 2.5 acres. Some of the lakes don't have boat ramps.  This is the boat I have been using for the last 10 years, and that I will continue to use as long as I can until I hit my expiration date (I'm now 67). There is no "next boat" planned. If this hull starts to leak or otherwise become unserviceable, I might replace it with a lighter hull boat (kevlar, carbon fiber, etc.) but otherwise would keep all the rigging just as is.  I have yet to find a better "mobile fishing platform" to fish my little lakes and that meets my requirements for transportability, function and capability, and at-home storage...

 

Unless I get lucky and win a new boat I will stick with my 2001 Fisher Marine Marsh Hawk 165. Now kayaks are another story I might want to step up to a peddle kayak when they are more affordable.

I just bought my Triton 18tx a few months ago and have not regretted trading in a Triton 20x2 for it. Havent had it that long but long enough to know for my area and fishing style I'll probably never buy another glass rig.

Seeing your rig Goose makes me think I should just keep my boat and just set it up the way I like. I could do that far cheaper than buying another boat. That's kinda why I started this thread, to get an idea of what other fishers would go with.. My boat is a simple 1542 Tracker flat bottom with a 20 hp Merc..thinking seriously of just setting it up..idk..

Well hopefully I have a lot of years left, but I really like the boat I just bought and think I may just upgrade things as the years go on and keep it for a long time!  It is a 2007 Bass Tracker 170 with a 9.9 on the back.  Most of the lakes around me are 9.9 restricted so it is the perfect setup!

That is an awesome set-up. 

As some of you know I just purchased a Vexus 1880.  I had a TR20.  This smaller boat is amazing in so many ways...do I miss the speed...yes...but not much.  A very stable platform and has everything I'll need.  Pushing 70 so it will probably be my last.  So much easier to push around in garage too.

P.S.  Sorry again I haven't posted pics....my son hasn't been over to hold my hand on this technology....

I already have my last boat...or maybe not. My Lund is perfect in every way for my current situation. But maybe I want to move onto bigger and better things. I'm mulling around getting out of the aluminum tank and into a fiberglass multi species boat. 

My current 17' Mr. Pike will likely be my last.  If not, the 2075 Tyee would be what I'm after to retire with.

This would be my dream boat as well.  Doing so means many $$$ on the boat and upgrading to a 3/4 ton pickup.

I've already got the 3/4 ton. I'd hate to start with boat payments while i still have truck payments. I bought the Lund after i paid off my Tundra. I bought the Super Duty after I paid off the Lund. 

My exciting purchase this year is a furnace.

If the good Lord is willing and the creeek don't rise, I will be completely out of debt in 2021..no mortgage..no truck pymt..then I'm going to have to do some hard thinking about a boat..when you get out of debt it's hard to go back in debt..

IDK. Probably a wide jon boat rigged with casting decks and a trolling motor on front.
