New Mudbug Jig

Featured Replies

New Jig!  Mudbug Jig heads are basically “All-Terrain” multi purpose jigs that work great in grass, rocks, wood, brush, skipping docks, and can be used as swim jigs.

Welp, I wasn't going to place an order any time soon but now I think I'll have to ? been fishing smaller jigs lately and those finesse cut versions look deadly

Sounds like this is designed to be a pretty versatile jig! How would you say it compares to your Grid Iron Arky jig regarding versatility?

The Grid Iron Arky is a little more round and flatter on the front bottom.  The hook on the Grid Iron Arky sets these two apart due to it being the XXX strong Owner Hook.  Both are very versatile.

What size wire is used to tie these jigs skirts?

Hmm, might have to order a few of these jigheads. I need to make me a few finesse jigs.

@Siebert Outdoors Any chance it will ever come with that Owner Deepthroat hook like the dredge series?

I doubt it unfortunately.  It would be new molds.

What does it take to get new molds? I know a few guys that might be willing to chip in to make it happen.

I look forward to hearing how that horizontal line tie works for everyone.  Please come back and post your experiences.  I have a sense that I would struggle to work it through my typically heavy brush piles.
