Found my limit....maybe

Been fishing the last two days for a few hours.....Thursday was tough....one nice smallie and a couple dinks.  So yesterday a front comes in....ohhhhhhh....we are thinking this is going to be amazing.....NOT.  Three little...little dinks and came home early with a 101 temp and bent over......dang.  Seems to be gone now but question is....was it the chemo/rad/meds and the weather or did I get a 24 hour bug.   Think I will keep to better weather till all this add on stuff is done.....mama says I push it.....but if I can walk I can fish.....right!!

Tight Lines

Except for doctors' orders and common sense, do what you love as much as you can. Funny, my knees and ankles hurt more when I'm working than when I'm fishing. Go figure.

You need to take it easy and quit pushing the limit. You still need to be able to go with mama out on the golf course.

Fish when you feel good. Eat, sleep, and rest when not feeling good. Everything else always works out just fine.?

Gotta be a bug! That fresh air and vitamin D while you're outside doing something you enjoy are almost as important as the meds and radiation!! Awesome you're still getting out in that weather... just be sure to keep your hands and feet warm.

I strongly suggest you speak with your doctor or a trained oncologist BUT it would not surprise me at all to hear that chemo, radiation, etc. decreases your endurance and your autoimmune system.  Actually, I'd be surprised if I heard it didn't.  Go easy until you learn what YOUR body can take.  Pushing yourself too hard and you could go backwards in your steps to recovery.

Believe this is talk day at the radiation doc...but I do have CLL which makes matters oh so ever wonderful too!!  Another doc awhile back said make a list and get er dun.  :).....trying to live in the moment...kind of a unique circumstance....and it makes it hard as I'm not a sitter.....oh well...finishing coffee and off to rad....
