Bought a Lowe winter project. So far sanded and painted. Next is the interior paint and decking it.

  • All the pieces aren’t done yet but getting closer.

  • You are obviously a lot more handy than I am.  My son asked for a bass boat for x-mas.  he's only 9

That’s a pretty sweet looking paint job! Can’t wait to see what the other side is gonna look like once it’s done. ??

Yeah I was going to do flat black but went with gloss. Thinking dark grey on the inside and matching carpet on the decks. Probably use aluminum angle to frame it all.

I'd sure look at hydro turf before i carpeted the decks.

Hydro Turf, Sea Deck, and Sea Mat are three well known brands of deck padding.  I have Sea Mat in my kayak and love it.  Way better than carpet!

Its coming along nicely.

Lookin good ??. With workmanship like this, you could go into the “Jon boat flipping business” and make a killing ?

Good looking boat.  You're doing a heck of a job.

Looks good, were you planning on using a foot controlled trolling motor up front?

Looking at lid I'm assuming not. Great craftsmanship though! ??

No I’m not. Unfortunately I wasn’t thinking when I was looking and found a great deal on a stern trolling motor.

Thanks you though. YouTube is a wonderful thing lol.

Look up reversing the head on that, and mount it to the bow for a hand controlled troller. ;)

Well thanks. I never really thought so lol. This is my first real attempt at fabricating something like this so it’s actually going pretty well. It’s a fun project/learning experience.
