Team went down in flames...story of my life

My team did really good. I got 3 guys in the top 6, another in the top 15, and my last guy finished about halfway down.

probably my highest point total ever and still didnt crack the top ten in   the group. 

Eh. One top 10, one top 20, and three who missed the cut.

 

  

My team fished about as well as I usually do!  May be time for all of us to retire from fishing!  ?

Seth Feider finally had his best day on the final day and surged up to 4th. That helped save my bracket.

It's a really tight race so far. Only 55 points separate 3rd from 10th. So choose your picks wisely.

That's the thing about the Classic, the smaller field makes it easier to score higher, but tougher to gain points on the field.  I had Paul Mueller in bucket B and he bombed, but his 2nd to last finish didn't create as much of a gap as there would have been with 80 plus anglers.

 

 

Two people had point totals of 1495.  I believe they had 4 anglers in the top 10, big bass, big bag, day 1/2 leader and the top bucket E angler.

 

I don't know if I have ever seen a score that high.

I had Micah Frazier in top 5, so I'll take it. Everybody else bombed out

What's everyone's strategy here? These fish are going to be in a totally different stage than they were when these guys originally supposed to fish this event.

For the first time in the 4 years I have played  , I am not near the cellar . So I'm playing it safe . I changed my original lineup and going with   what I feel is a less risky team . Its no fun picking dark horses and coming in last . I'm not very good at that . LOL.  I chose a couple of shallow water sticks and guys who are good at fishing deep .

I have events like that all the time. I'll be torn who to pick and I'll just pick the guys with high percentages or who are the local. 

I might have to rethink my overall weight based on the 1st day for the FLW toyota guys on Eufala

Looks like Randy Howell's son Laker is in 6th after day 1.

Me too . Just added 17 lbs to my total .

Dang, an FLW tournament, immediately followed up by a BASS practice and tournament. These fish are going to get worked over.
