I've used big bite stuff with good success...was wondering who uses these? How are they durability wise? How do they compare size wise for the bigger one to a standard zoom super chunk? Favorite colors?

Not sure why, but the Big Bite stuff doesn't get a lot of love around here. You go to the SE, especially Florida and it's a staple. While I have not used the chunk, I've caught a lot of fish on the Cane Thumper & the BB Kicker and durability has not been an issue.

Big Bite Baits sponsors several pro bass anglers should be more popular with the decent prices with good color selection and wide variety of soft plastics.

With all that said the brand isn't popular out west.

What is a chunk today? When pork rind frogs stopped being produced soft plastic copies were called chunks in lieu of frogs because soft plastic frogs or toads were already popular. Chunk met pork frog with a thick flat front pad and twin tails.

The subject Big Bite chunk has oversize craw claws so why isn't it called a craw?

Big Bite Baits problem is they're trying to compete in a market owned by Zoom.

I don't mind big bite stuff at all...they have a creature that looks like a baby brush hog..25pk for $5...I've had great luck with those

Kinda looks like same mold as alluring baits used to be. I’ve used those. Don’t expect any action. More of a bulkiness to slow down your jig fall and look realistic laying on the lake floor. That said, I had very good luck with them

I'm kinda hoping for little to no action...I use the chunk for profile and slow rate of fall in the cold water period..I reach for something like a Christie craw or rage plastic when I want high action

I love their squirrel(?) tail worm that I use for d/s..they have some nice colors and cheaper than Roboworms.

I have some, but haven't got to use them yet. I use Big Bite Bait 1/16th oz. jigheads for panfish, they have some good stuff for the price and a lot of stores carry them around here.

My dad uses these all the time.  They don't have a ton of action but they won't slow the fall rate. Zoom big salty chunk for that.
