I went fishing today and was using 4" zoom lizards... I caught 3 Eastern Newts that were trying to get it on with my bait.  Each time I had to untangle them from my bait...  Apparently I had the wrong bait for fish.

Bigger than anything I've caught yet this year!

What kind of scent were you using? Bait-mate ultra continuous spray, Bang, Bio-edge liquid potion, Cox juice, Lunker city super stank or Mega strike newt attractant?

They are a great bait. Though your catch wasn’t very impressive, it is very interesting. 

That's hilarious. I saw a bunch of 'em in the shallows this morning and was wondering if the 4" zoom lizards would imitate them well. I guess if the Newts are willing to get freaky with them they're close enough lmao.
