He is 5 years old. Also his first fish with an artificial lure.

Great to see!

That's a great pic. The imperfect photos are often the best ones. They give you a hint and let your memory re-live and describe the rest, specifically because it was not captured. Congrats to you and your 5 year old for a memory you'll both have forever.

Congratulations to your son for catching his first bass. Now you have a new friend to join you on your fishing trips.

And he's off ?

It's all downhill from here.

Congrats! Makes me not want to wait for my Grandson to get old enough to experience the same! Just a couple more years......

Making memories!

Actually, you can tell from that pic that the bass is not some skinny fingerling. It probably gave a five year-old the fight a 5# would give a grown man!

Congrats to you both!

Now it's Hooney.....off to the lake with our son....dinner at five please!!!

Very cool. Be careful, soon he will be asking for a few baitcasters and wanting to fish everyday.  Trust me, I know all about this.  lol
