Most fished baits

Featured Replies

I mostly fish the slop,so the Gambler Cane Toad and frogs are what I fish most.

rbrick - Those cane toads are great, aren't they?

My most fished lure is a Bandit 100.  I catch fish on it from early spring to late fall, and love it.  Spinnerbait is next, followed by a trickworm or similar style bait.

Crankbaits.- Rapala Shad Rap, Storm Wiggle Wart, Storm Thundercrank and Megabass Bait X

Spinnerbait.- 1/4 oz white & chartreuse single colorado or single willow leaf gold blade

Jigs.- 1/2 oz black

Soft plastics.- Zoom Trickworm, 5 inch Zoom Salty Fat Albert, 4 inch Zoom Dead Ringer.

Everytime this kind of question is asked and after I reply I always wonder, why on earth I always carry a ton of stuff ?  :-?

Big ones. ;)

spinnerbait, shaky head, and medium running crankbait get it done all year, though in early springtime I fish a jerkbait an awful lot.

Zoom Lizards, Senkos and shallow running cranks.

#1 Texas Rigged Gene Larew 7 ½ Salty Ring Worm Cinnamon Pepper Neon/June Bug Laminated (Camouflage).

#2 Oldham's Lures Trailer Hitch Jig, 3/8 oz Black/Blue, Gene Larew Salty Hawg Craws in 6 with 1 ½ cut off the tail.

I primarily use large spinnerbaits with large colorado spinners in my farm pond, but other places i change up my spinners, or i throw a senko, then cranks...

The last couple of years I'd have to say that I've gone to fishing a lot more crankbaits, particularly shallow runners.  While I haven't quit fishing spinnerbaits, the shallow cranks are getting tossed more and more into places where I used to use the spinners, with very good success. 8-)

I'm kind of junky ;)so I throw about everything.

If I am trying to locate I'll always be crankin'

Other than that I probably throw jigs most.
