Snag area, what's down there?

Featured Replies

So whenever I fish a bridge in my area. There's this area thats always snagging my lures and bluegill. Is there anyway to prevent this area to snagging my lures and bait. Also is there an explanation on why this part is so snaggy?

There is a pond near my home, anytime I need some tackle ill go there to harvest LOL, I get lucky crafts jerk bait and lipless and bunch of crank baits , I am not kidding, every harvest is worth $100 plus. I don't name my tackle farm but you going to believe me.

Go down to the banks on both sides and on least one side you will probably see a rope tethered to the fountain aerator and the shore. You may be snagging n that. If the rope is only on one side, cast short of it and on the other side.

If you don't see a rope then it is being anchored underneath the aerator platform. You could either snagging on that rope or the weighted blocks.

Then again, you're in Florida. You could be snagging on one of those "Florida Man" dead bodies down there!

Ours have a air line that runs from the pump to the aerator...I have lost a few on those. I've seen the maintenance crew pull one out... It had a bunch of tackle stuck to it.
