A few years ago I purchased a Favorite Soleus reel for $50.00 during DSG Black Friday sale. IMG_0977.jpeg.455e1d338e177f7517a14fbdb8c2b354.jpeg

When I was 10-12 years old I went to a garage sale with my Mom.  I found a tackle box that was loaded and bought it for a couple of bucks.  That was 46 years ago and I still have a couple items that I

I picked up a pair of Daiwa Lexa HD 400's last year for $200 each. They're normally $319.

Getting exposed to digitaka and major craft from this site. My 2 piece 6'9M/F Days at $130 (all in) is a game changer for me.  Add in an alphas 800s, and it costs $10 more than one expride rod and I love it.  And even better yet, I still like my exprides and think they're good rods for the price.

Walmart marked down a bunch of nice graphite IM7 rods for $7 each, bought them all.  Bought 2 Shimano Symetre 2000 reels @ a garage sale for $15 for the pair.  Still using them.

About 3 years ago while at Academy Sports they had about 10 new Daiwa Excellor size 4000 spinning reels they marked down to $12.00 . I bought two to use with light FC line (per KVD regarding  light FC line / large spool reasoning) . Shortly after I bought a Lew’s 6’6”  M/F spinning rod marked down to $9.00 at Academy .

A website closed shop about three years ago and I bought literally everything they had in things I’d use. Keitechs at 75 cents a pack, dirty jigs at 50, underpins, flipping hooks. I’m still 50+ packs of fat swing impacts deep.

Several years ago I was at a Cabela's in WI looking at SC rods and noticed a mismarked LT spinning rod for $ 20.00 something.  I thought "wow my lucky day!"  I bought it, got into my car and thought "this isn't right." and I took it back.  I didn't steal it but knew it wasn't right to keep it so I took it back in and returned it.  I know I should have just notified someone in the fishing department initially but my devil side said "get it!"

When sports authority was going out of business,  I found 2 usa falcon 7' medium rods, 1 casting, 1 spinning for $27 each. Took to the checkout and she said they were priced wrong. Got them for $15 each!!!!

And I'm a falcon guy....
