I was thinking of having a custom rod made and was wondering if any of you had some recommendations for me as far as builders go. I am located in Minnesota, if that matters at all. Thanks in advance!

Agree! I have a custom rod built by @Delaware Valley Tackle and couldn’t be happier!!

I knew they did reel maintenance, but not anything with rods. Thanks, I will give them a call.

I had all mine made at Thorne Bros. Best tackle shop in MN IMO and you can feel all sorts of blanks/rods and go from there.
