Left alone or harassed

Featured Replies

My biggest gripe on this topic are the young women in Brazilian bikinis who keep stopping by and asking questions, asking me to rub tanning oil on them etc.  It's especially annoying when the bend over a lot and bring their girlfriends then giggle and shriek at one another while trying on their high heels.

I just can't get away fast enough, it's like "c'mon girls, I'm trying to fish here".

I had a guy try to stab me about 13 years ago.

Most encounters have been just normal chit chat. A lot of times it is either when loading or unloading the boat. One bad one was on the river. My brother and I were fishing and some people kept skiing

  • I get approached a lot at the docks when loading or launching the boat. I only fish public lakes, so I don't deal with homeowners much. Don't ever remember of a time I felt harassed.  M

That is the only reason anyone would fish at Pickwick on a weekend or during the holidays.
