I moved to Crown Point, Indiana a few months ago after living in southern California for 44 years. I fished now and then, but was never really serious about it.  Now that I am living in the Midwest, I have become obsessed with Largemouth Bass fishing. I go out fishing often, weather be damned. I have a small pond at my apt complex which I fish almost daily, and I have been heading out to different lakes close to me to fish from shore. I just bought a kayak, an Ascend 10T. I have been trying out some lakes with launch ramps near me... anyways I thought I would introduce myself and I look forward to learning from everyone here.

Hi from Fl, sounds like you got the fever. I learned a lot from this site.

Welcome Josh, I’m new here too and we have a couple things in common. I too fish either a pond from the bank or in my kayak. I bought the kayak to access more waters (no regrets!) but ironically I still do way better in the small pond from the bank.

Welcome to the site.

I think I'm ready to be 'from southern california' soon myself.
