The drive to a fishing spot. Does your mind wander?

Featured Replies

My mind is always wandering. It doesn’t  matter what I’m doing. Up at 4 am and not home til between 9 and 11 alot of nights. About  the only time it isn’t wandering is when I can launch the yak and forget the rest ?. And that hasn’t  happened in 3 freaking weeks ?. Ask the wife .. I don’t sit down much..I pace and talk to myself ?. To much to do and not enough time to do it . Story of my life ?. I like being busy.. just sucks when it cuts into fishing time which it has recently..A lot.

I was flying my cub to a river in AK.  Winds were calm clear sky all was good allowing my mind to wonder.  The engine sputtered.  I Reflexively lowered the nose and switched fuel tanks.  Engine went back to humming the way it should.  My passenger woke up from his nap and asked what was up.  I replied I was just wondering

If we should start with fly or spinning.
