Gen clear? (something I've never seen or heard) What's next, walleyed pike? (something I've seen and heard a lot).

Maybe the folks saying gen are Baptist and aren't allowed to say gin. (I'm Baptist btw).

It’s all subjective with water clarity.

If misspelled words are your life’s biggest problem avoid my post. Good engineer but can’t spell worth a darn.

I always thought it was djinn clear.

But regardless, being 100% on top of spelling and punctuation is not my strong point. As a software developer, if the compiler doesn't throw and error, then I'm usually good.

I had a workstudy student who was a computer programmer and a terrible speller, an interesting combination.  One day he comes in and loudly and proudly announces "I'm Dyslexic".   I said that while being dyslexic was nothing to be ashamed of, I've never seen anyone happy about it.  He replied "I thought I was just stupid!, You can do something about dyslexia but stupid you're just stuck with!"

The Spelling police?!? Is it possible it may have something to do with what part of the country or regional dialect is being used? I don’t know, but if anything it’s the Punctuation Police who’d really be busy ?. And I definitely like my Gin with tonic and a wedge of lime. Be well all

I came here intending to say my go-to would be a ned rig on as light as possible line with long casts.

But, I've literally never seen it referred to as "gen clear"

Gin is the devils juice!!! I know it’s usually 80 proof like everything else but it somehow hits me way too hard every single time

I'll have to agree with that.  Clear liquor seems to always make my head hurt the next day.  Brown is the way to go for me.

We don't have any Jin clear water around these parts.  :smile2:
