Anyone own one of these tackle bags?

I usually keep all my tackle in my own boat but sometimes I go fishing in someone else’s boat and need to gather up some tackle for the trip. I’m looking at the one that holds 3 of the Plano 3700 boxes.

Thanks

I have a 3700 and 3600 size. I use the 3600 size more and keep it tethered to my kayak rather than a crate.

I have both the standard and edge type boxes. The weekender bags will fit 3 (3700) and 4 (3600) of each standard size box. However, I fit one less in each with the edge boxes as they do not flex to easily remove from the bag when full.

The front pouch fits a good amount of plastics in bags and gets a little difficult with clam shells.

I live very close to the Plano factory so these were purchased at a steep discount at their outlet store. I like both and would buy at full price.

Plano has several options.

RW, i would be embsarrassed to show up to fish as a non boater lugging that thing around. I don't need 70# of baits to fish a day.  ?

Plano B-Series?

4x3700 or 6x3701 plus pockets for plastics and incidentals.

My favorite are like this one, but hold 8.  Great for hopping on the neighbors boat.

That one holds 6 and is $17

I actually carry my stuff in a duffle I got for joining the NRA years ago.  The side pockets hold all my plastics and I can fit 6 Plano 3600's in there along with a square spinnerbait box and some small rectangular boxes for hooks, weights, and other terminal tackle.

I've decided to try this one.  Its more than 50% off at Midway USA right now.  I also bought one as a xmas gift for my Father, added a couple lures, and then got the free shipping.  It fits 3 of the 3700 size boxes and has side pockets for accessories/soft plastics.  Plus I like the overlapping cover to keep rain out.

That's an amazing deal.  I thought I did well getting the 3500 bag for $18!

Speaking of the 3500 bag - it's tiny, which is exactly what I wanted it for.  You can pack enough in it for a good day on the water and use it in a small kayak or a jon boat two-up without tripping over it.

I use a Plano weekender in 3500 size for bank and kayak fishing. So far it has been perfect for the last two seasons. Holds two double sided 3500 boxes or 4 individual boxes. Plenty of room for small terminal tackle box and tools. Usually holds my wallet, keys, and phone as well.

More tackle than you would ever use on an outing.

While I won't actually be using this tackle bag I received until next spring, I had a chance to look it over well yesterday.

Initial thoughts are that I got a bargain for 19 bucks.  I like the fact that the cover goes over top of the bag with clips instead of a zipper and I also like the front/side pockets for accessories.

However, I did notice that there isn't a back pouch/pocket.  There's nothing on the back side.  Plano could have added another storage area to the back of it pretty easily.
