I don't know why anyone would order one just because they saw someone have success with it.

My thoughts exactly. We were virtual learning the last 2 days so I had to be on my computer at 8:00 am to help kids with any questions they may have. But, we took a snow day tomorrow so no virtual work.

haha now wheeler coming out of no-where!

he's in a spot with NO standing timber, he looks like he's way offshore in the middle of some big bay.

Now he's got 3 fish and in 4th...

I still think Wheeler is going to come out swinging here in the later periods. The dude is a hammer, and he mentioned he had more spots to check out when he was "practicing" during day 2 of qualifying.

I love that JR is leading, and that he's getting them on a crankbait, and he said almost working it like a jerkbait. Little jerks / stop and go, is what is closing the deal and getting the fish to bite. He has had a lot that are short biters, buttttttt they are getting hooked and he's able to bring em in.  He's in areas with slicker water, wheeler said the slicker water can be good, but the wind is going in a lot of the lake...

I would never bet against Wheeler.

Dang, Wheeler catches an 8-5 then immediately hooks up another big one and loses it at the boat.

You can say that again.  Oops, you already did. :D

Wow that was insane. Wonder if he could have scored that one if he snagged it??

That was a tough loss for Wheeler. The tough thing with little tiny trebles and only getting that back hook barely in there....

I don't think so. I would guess they would rule that as intentional snagging.

Or the sight fishing rule...where it has to be hooked in the mouth

I think the BPT rule is a snagged fish counts unless you are sight fishing.

Plenty of action in this period.

Seems every fish catch at this point is 'edge of my seat' stuff.

Since the final period is only ONE hour long,

I'm expecting some real 'entertainment' right up to Lines Out.

At the start of it, those 60 minutes may draaaaaag on forever for the leader

& fly by at lightning speed for whoever's in 2nd & third place

I like it.

Pretty sure it's Time . . .

Time for that 10 lb plus Lake Fork Stump Monkey to make her appearance.

Wow Birge just lost a tank at the boat. Not hooked well on a jerkbait.

The camera guy got the official in the background after he lost it, and the camera guy looked like he was with zero expression, hoping to add no emotion to the loss...

OK ~ So it's the Final Hour.

Will Jr hang be able to hang on

or will one of the Hammers breathing down his neck dial up some last minute heroics ?

Hold onto your popcorn . . . .

I really am rootin' for JR to win, but it's going to be tight....

JR is due, but I cannot bet against my fellow born Hoosier in Wheeler....
