I don't know why anyone would order one just because they saw someone have success with it.

DC with a DD Bass _

Oh MY !

A-Jay

I did not see DC get it, I was like 3 minutes late, but I know he was excited!

Cameras a freezing up, lots of ice on the camera lenses!!

Water temps went from 61 yesterday to 47-49 today!! (from Rob Newell)

I love that the top 3 guys are all using something different, this is PROOF i don't need to stress on what to throw. Spinnerbait, chatterbait, crainbait, and jerkbait!

I'm very surprised fish are biting this well given the drastic drop... but I'm glad it's happenin!

MLF, out of an abundance of caution, safety & common sense,

This Knockout round has officially been shortened to just TWO Periods.

So no period THREE in this one.

Anglers will find out about this at the first break,

10 minutes from now.

Make fish caught so far even bigger and ones not,

perhaps even more elusive.

Guys above the Toro Cut Line probably welcome it.

I get it ~

But more weather's coming in and these guys all have to trailer their rigs.

Asking them to deal with Ice on the road & especially the boat ramps,

is unnecessarily dangerous IMO.

#notworthalife

Hope they can safely fish tomorrow

No doubt. Live to fish another day, literally. But from a competitive standpoint... especially when anyone can rally here at any moment. Has to hurt. Points and wallet. I'm living vicariously a bit.

KVD not too happy with the shortened day. You can definitely tell he's agitated about it.

who knew bass fishing was taking part in the winter olympics this year??

Interesting two rookies made it into the championships. Dakota and Cole.

Also will be fun to see Alton SR and JR in the final.

And just like that ~ this one's in the books.

Congrats to all the anglers who needed to endure some fairly brutal conditions.

But it was the Top 8 who did all that plus managed to stay ahead of what was a pretty stacked line up.

1st Alton Jones Jr. 52 - 03 (12) 5 - 12 5 - 06
  2nd Dakota Ebare 48 - 11 (12) 8 - 15 4 - 15
  3rd Zack Birge 44 - 07 (9) 7 - 08 5 - 12
  4th Casey Ashley 43 - 08 (10) 6 - 14 6 - 10
  5th Justin Lucas 37 - 11 (8) 7 - 15 2 - 02
  6th Cole Floyd 35 - 02 (8) 6 - 02 2 - 10
  7th Jonathon VanDam 29 - 04 (6) 8 - 05 7 - 04
  8th Jeff Sprague 28 - 04 (7) 9 - 02 2 - 01

Not sure what tomorrow will bring but it will be, no doubt, entertaining.

Jacob Wheeler & Alton Jones should be very rested

All the tournament trails this year have been fun to watch. They're definitely showing how to handle adverse conditions.

Probably gonna pull Alton

I tried to pull up the tourney on my computer after work and couldn't get it.  Then I saw where they cancelled the third period, and pushed the final round out to Friday because of freezing rain.  It's good to move the championship round to Friday.  If they are having a lot of freezing rain then the ramps will be iced over.

Looks like times have changed if you plan on watching. Lines in at 11:00 am and fish till 5:30. I'm off work so I should be able to tune in.

We are out of school for the 3rd day in a row. Ice covered roads are no good.
