I put a couple if squirts in each sack of plastics.

I put a few drops of JJ'S Magic clear in each bag.

I use megastrike on occasion but i like JJ'S a whole lot.

I dip the end of my jig skirts, occasionally the tails of certain worms, and the on occasion the boot on a boot tail swim bait in Chartreuse.

  • The 1st time your fishing partner is kicking butt with scent that you refuse to use may impact your decision. MegaStrike small tube is easy to use and store, plus lubricates soft plastic to slide

It's not the bite, but I think bass hold on better.

I used to use JJ's, but got tired of everything in my storage compartments smelling like garlic.  It took a few YEARS to get rid of that smell. LOL

My opinion after trying scents for a while now is they do work but more as a masking agent than an attractant.  Personal hygiene likely matters as well.  My guess is scents would work miracles for some of you ?.  I also think the masking probably matters most in close quarters.  I equate it to whitetail hunting.  You have that deer coming in on a rope and all of a sudden he sniffs the ground right where you walked in and hangs up or becomes cautions.  Shouldn’t have been wearing your hunting boots while pumping gas.  I could see bass exhibiting the same behavior with human scent.  Maybe that’s why the hold longer.  Who knows…if it gives you confidence, it probably works.  It would also probably help to take an occasional shower.

Using scent gives me confidence in what I'm doing and to get bites.

I'm that confident in that line of thinking and it's ALL based on using it successfully.

Just like certain baits, presentations & techniques, the ones that produce the most & the biggest bass,

are fished hard and with plenty of high expectations.

I believe it gives me a 'edge' every time out, regardless of the bait I'm throwing or the conditions.

I use one  @Bobby Uhrig   Megastrike

I never bass fish without it

One thing I can absolutely prove Worm juice is good for is carpet removal.

For years I used Fish Formula II & one night my youngest son stepped on a bottle & it spilled all out. Everywhere it soaked through the carpet came unglued!

i loved the fish formula crawfish scent that came in the flip top spout applicator.

I spray BANG crawfish in all my Zoom plastic bags.
