Well I’m currently content with my current setups. There are a couple of different directions I could go but I’m fine where I’m at now. Still, when a sale hits and I have the opportunity to upgrade I wanna be ready to pull the trigger and want to know what I’m missing out on and fill any holes I might have. So where would y’all go from here?

I’m thinking either get a dedicated flipping stick, upgrade my cranking setup to a Champion XP, or upgrade my spinning reel to a Tatula LT or Vanford. What do y’all think? 

This past winter I did one main rig purchase

 

Daiwa CA-80/Fury 765FLIP

 

Split flip/pitch/punch off of my heavy rig which is now strictly for frogging and larger topwater (Super Spooks, WP-110+, etc)

 

So I'd vote for a dedicated flip/pitch rig.

Two rods stick out for me.  A longer flipping stick, a Kaden 765 Flip and or a Champion 764CB RM.  Something along those lines in whatever brand choice you prefer.

You need to buy a combo designed to throw large swim and glide baits weighing 2-8 oz.  Then you will have an excuse to buy large swim and glide baits.  I'm just passing on what the Bait Monkey is trying to sell me on right now.
