I took this guy fishing and we caught fish pitching worms to brush piles . He told a dude at the dock we were flipping into structure . Never took him fishing again . Nice guy though .

Being a kayaker, it's common I get blown away from my target spot and start off flipping but end up pitching to make up for my location change. So if I use the terms interchangeably, it's largely intentional

Local lake has some abandoned fishing piers...I was flipping under them just last week.
