To suicide.

Last week Tony's one and only 1099 employee came into the store. I asked where's Tony been? He said "He's going thru some hard times right now. His son committed suicide over a girl from the internet that he had never met". Told him to tell Tony to take care. 1099 came in today. "Tony F'ed everything up. He hung himself. His daughter found him hanging in the shed" 

I was taken aback. Tony was a "cup half full" kind of guy. Always a positive, roll with the punches, kind of guy. An entertaining story teller and from what I understand a very seasoned mechanic.

Don't know if he had a wife but he is survived by 2 other children.

For those of you that believe, lift a few prayers for his family. that they get thru these losses without anymore carnage. For all of you, stay involved in the lives of your loved ones. Make sure they know they are loved. 

 

These stories kill me. Had it happen to a couple people close to me. Been in pretty dark times myself where you think how much easier it would be. If I lost my Son, I don't know if I could make it. 

My deepest sympathies for the involved. Suicide is doubly tragic, both for the departed, as well as their family and friends as this case poignantly demonstrates.

I’m finally out of my dark times after losing my son that will be in prison for the rest of my life and the death of my best friend. Suicide would have eased my pain but it would have caused more pain for my other 4 kids, wife, and my Mom so it’s not a option 

So sorry, I lost a very close friend to suicide and it’s incredible the amount of pain left to those of us who knew them.  

@slonezp, I am sorry for the loss of your friend. I lost one of my closet friends to suicide. 

How tragic and sad for everyone.

What an awful deal...always hard to hear. My best buddy's wife lost her best friend that way a few years back. Had two little kids and was going thru some struggles and I believe living with her dad at the time to get back on her feet. Her dad found her hanging in the barn one day...leaving behind a heartbroken parent and two devastated little kids.

That’s pretty sad. You never truly know what someone is thinking.
