the Inurig? did it go away?

I was tidying up my work bench.  it's my car working workbench and it has been reduced to holding lures, baits, hooks that I have used and taken off my kayak.  I like to sharpen hooks and put them back into rotation, and such.

I notice a jar where I saved all those spray straws from things like WD-40, and gun cleaner sprays.  I thought, "now why would I keep all of these?"  then I remembered.  I had visions of building Inurigs and going out on a lake with a bunch of unaware bass and cleaning house.  Apparently, I forgot about my bigbass dreams.  hahha..  at the time every youtubefisherman was out hawking the newest trend.

you still cutting straws, glueing, stabbing lines, burying hooks into an Inurig?  me, the excursion never got off the ground beyond hoarding plastic straws.  I should at least BUILD ONE.  :)  maybe tonight, for tomorrows fishing trip.

STILL? Ever? Certainly, you jest ?  Inurig is right up there with the Cover Scat that every media feed I get continues to feature. Ain’t happening in my world. YMMV…

Had to Google it, very interesting.

Pro's....... increased action, something fish may not have seen.

Cons....... labor intensive, wouldn't seem very mobile through heavy cover.

Maybe its just me, but this looks like less action than a regular texas rigged worm

It sorta struck me as complicating a one horse parade ?
