That’s pretty close tail is larger but I wonder if that really matters

My issue with that worm is the head is smaller. My favorite was Gene Larew's 7 1/2" Salty Ringworm or Renegade's Ringworms. Both had a head that was 3/8-1/2" giving more plastic for the hook.

You like gene larew salty ringworm and zoom ultravibe speed worm, both have small tail sections. So does mister twister phenom. Why the preference towards smaller tail sections? More meat? More subtle movement? Just what you have confidence in?

I took your advice many years ago and still have a few bags of Larew left.
