This reminded me of back when I was working for a major biotech pharma company in the facilities department and we had someone from purchasing come to show us how to process a purchase order in the new purchasing system. She asked the group to give an example of something we would create a purchase order for. Someone other than me hollered out "Jeff's new bass boat". Being a good sport, that is what she entered into the sample PO.

About a year later, I got a call from the purchasing department telling me that I had some explaining to do, LOL.

If you're referring to Momma as HR, that's one thing.

I work for a family owned company. The owners exact words. "If I ran HR, we'd be sued and out of business." He's a few years my junior. I love to push his limits. As long as I make him money and I'm not a liability, I can do whatever I want.

When I worked in corporate America, as a crippled tradesman, the HR girl despised me. Don't know what se had against me. She was a dyke and I was a.....forgot how to use English. She had a bug up her ass* against me.

Nah, I was actually referring to my companies HR.

When we were bought out in January we went from around a 500 employee company to around 7000. Things are a bit different with how things are done and the HR department. I was quickly informed when I was given a management position that there are a few on my team that won’t hesitate to go to HR for almost anything.
