Having trouble posting pics all of sudden.....anybody else?

Featured Replies

So regardless of what thread I try to reply to......it says the max total size I can upload a file is 4.88kb.    Up until this point in my forum usage, I could post 1.46mb files IIrc.

Did I somehow max out my limit for posting pics or something like you can for emotions?    I can't post pics at all now because of this.

Any help would be appreciated :)

There's a max total you can upload - that's a grand total of ALL the pics you've uploaded. Once you hit that max, you're restricted from posting more until you delete some.

Click on the down arrow next to your user-name, then click on 'My Attachments'.

Go to the last page of your attachment list, check the boxes on the far right for pics you want to delete, then click on the 'Trash Barrel' in the bottom-center to delete them

That'll clear space so you can upload more pics.

Dang that stinks......that almost creates a "photobucket situation" where tech threads that had pics no longer have pics because the OP had to delete them.   Same goes for threads in general, many people read old threads.

Figures you'd know, and help out.....you are without a doubt one of the most helpful, and informative members on this site.   Thanks!

This happened to me a few years ago. There are some work arounds that don’t involve deleting your old pictures.

first is use a website like postimage.com or imgur

second is what @N Florida Mikeshowed me. Upload them to the gallery of member photos then you can click upload existing Image in your post and find it
