Cheap insults are for sissies. 

Vanford from digitaka or on sale hands down. For bass fishing you don’t need a metal frame and so you don’t need a stradic. Vanford is the point of diminishing returns for sure. 

Shimano Nasci would be my choice

As the captain of the boat I'm buying another BG3000

 

 

Edit - actually I fish from the bank but I'm also rough on my equipment. I've lost control of more than one rod over a 10 ft drop to rocks.

Sold my Vanford and my Tatulas and kept the Johnny Morris Signature reels.

 

Everyone will have their own assessment. For the $$$$, they cannot me beat.
