Nope, looks about right for all the new reels you're  looking to purchase next right before all the new rods.

It's never ending unless you're losing interest..... obviously not the case here.

I just put some 50 lb on a reel too! The spool was getting a little low 

What is the benefit of this system versus just adding your own flouro leader to braid? Is it as simple as not having to tie the connection knot?

The leader material comes separate.  It's not pre-connected to the braid.

The leader material used in TactX is very similar to Red Label Fluoro.

So, it has great abrasion resistance and overall strength, but it is not a soft and supple as Gold Label

I don't.  It comes like that in the package.  Glad to know you're paying attention.

I hard to not know, you say you don't like leaders in a bunch of videos. I'll take the leaders from these lines packs!

So are you are buying the package of braid and not using the flouro as a leader?  What’s the logic ?   Is the braid test good?

Correct.  I don't like to use leaders, but this braid is awesome for the price.  So I get the braid despite the bonus leader. Hard to pass it up.
