What do you all think of pitting the top 25 guys from the BPT against the 25 highest rated pros from Bassmaster Elites. Just add all 25 weights for each team and do it for 2-3 days. No allowing communication between team-mates on the water like  the new BPT team format where they can talk, update, and coach each other. I'm old enough to remember when the American Football League claimed they could compete on the field with the more established NFL. While BASS is older, the BPT stole almost all the top pros, so they would be considered the better league of fisherman, but are they really? This would prove who's got the stronger group of accomplilshed anglers. I say, put up or shut up! Do you think the Bass Pro Tour would be afraid of the challenge, given they are almost universally considered the stronger league ability-wise.?  I think just like the Super Bowl, it would be must-see viewing and super high ratings for this made-for-television event. Agree or disagree??

This has been talked about a lot and would be amazing.   I am not sure either side really wants to mix brands.  It would interesting to see how the contract would look to divide up the revenue stream.  
 

it would be a MUST WATCH and would generate a lot of viewers.   I think it would have to be on network tv to generate the viewership both would want and be on equal ground.   

It would be awesome to watch but wouldn’t prove anything. They are all great fishermen. Could do the same event 100 times and each side could win 50 of them.

Keith Poche won the MLF event on Thursday and didn’t make the cut in the classic the following weekend

Yes I do. 

I didn't realize that there was another tournament organization equal to B.A.S.S. the original major league of bass fishing.

MLF is slap full of hammers, but nothing compares to the prestige of the Classic, it is the Bass fishing super bowl imho.
