Wednesday.  i will take my wife, pick up her best friend, drive them to the San Fransisco airport, drop them off.  (maybe after a nice lunch) and send them to Paris for a wonderful girl trip.  3 weeks of me running the show at home.  on the way home, i will stop at Hi's Tackle shop to see what they have on the shelves.

Thursday...i will be on a mental holiday, floating around either the California Delta or Clearlake fishing what is left of my spring season.  hahaha..

Friday, if i can get my boss to cooperate, i will be doing something VERY SIMILAR.

i am tasked with keeping our dog and cat alive, so i wont be doing any overnighters at New Melones, or Lake Shasta.

Saturday, Sunday?  hahahha...you know it.  if i was smart, i would take a Stay-Cation for a week.

My wife and oldest daughter are doing Amsterdam-Paris-London at the end of the month. My arms will be aching from paddling and casting when that week is over!

3 weeks

Three weeks?  That's a long time.  I went to Paris once for work for a few days and that was MORE than enough for this guy. All they do is drink wine there.  And I'm allergic to it.

My wife has a business trip for a week in California, right on Huntington Beach.

She booked 4 airline tickets, herself and our 2 daughters ( 25 and 30 ).

The 4th ticket got immediately cancelled when I weighed my options.

Sitting on Huntington Beach for a week ?

Or unmolested Bass fishing for a week ?

Enjoy the trip honey ?

My wife doesn't travel...she's a nurse practitioner...and works 1-2 weekends per month.

I fish my tail off those weekends : )

Enjoy your hall pass!

Some of the best draught beer I’ve ever had was in France. Grimbergen. That stuff was fantastique!

I could do a month at foreign destinations.  Hell, I’ll know phrases.

I almost turned Thai in a month.  :)

Be safe and catch lots of fish, keep us updated and tell your wife “safe travel” and take lots of pics …. You, not your wife, I’d rather see a smooth lake and a nice fish than Paris.

have fun
