The fastest I had my Bullet up to was 84.7 on GPS.  I used a much higher pitch (31" 3-blade) than my usual Trophy 4-bade 27.  The higher pitch was hell to get up on plane but there was more than I was

Ok y'all I know how they did it.

But like @Way2slow said until you're standing next to one of those boats you have no idea how massive they are.

How long are they?  Looks to be more than 30' but it's hard to tell.

Fastest I've seen would've been last year while fishing a river system near a set of rapids.

The river is connected to a resort area some 20 miles north but since the river gets very shallow there isnt alot of boat traffic.

Anyway, I'm in a kayak when I hear a bass boat at full throttle. Turns out its 5 bass boat racing from the resort area down to the rapids and then back north to the resorts.

I easily got out of there path but of course I was nearly swamped.

No amount of hull scrapes deters them, apparently they do this race every year on the same holiday weekend.

Yea, several tons and almost 450 square feet of boat, and probably not two square feet of ever touches the water when it's flying, and it is actually flying above the surface of the water.

I know...right!

I'm 5' 11 3/4" & was standing about ten feet back looking up, thinking are you kidding me!

I've seen em run on TV, that doesn't do them justice.

Fastest boat I was ever on with a bullet bass boat back in the 90s we were in a tournament and the driver of the boat looked at me and said how does it feel to go 90 miles an hour I look backed and said good. He had put on a racing motor apparently anyway that’s my story.
