For anyone who wants it,

If there was a good way to send

some of the 37 degrees we had here

this morning you're more than welcome to that noise.

Are you serious?

Can you send it my way please?

Like ASAP?

You can leave it here for several days too; that’s fine

Well, I'm gonna spend as little time outside this weekend as possible

They're saying that Sunday and Monday we have a 50/50 shot of breaking the old high-temp records for those days.

I did hear that it’s not supposed to be very humid though. Nothing like the last heatwave that had sweltering dew points in the 70’s.

That’s crazy @MN Fisher. Somehow y’all always have higher temps than me in summer , you’d think being a day and a half north of me it would be colder

scoot east a bit over near @A-Jay and you’ll never have heat problems again haha

Usually that’s probably true, but I’m just on the other side of Huron from him, and we’re getting the blast furnace here too for a few days. Yesterday I fixed a stone patio in what felt like 39C (103f) with the humidity. Needless to say, there was some sweat!

The forecast is unrecognizable.

what do you mean it’s not supposed to reach 104 degrees today?

what do you mean there’s a chance of rain?

What do you mean the low temperature is around 60 degrees?

Feels like I’m on a different planet. I was sure that the Texas heat was never going to let up and that we all were going to burn alive. Weather outlook unbelievably different y’all

And then there's this . . . .

May be an image of text that says 'Today Highs: 56-62° Tonight Lows: 32-41° Frosty? Thursday Highs: 64-68° Lows: 38-49° Friday Highs: 69-74° Lows: 46-56 Frost Possible Tonight NORTHERN MICHIGAN weather ov/gaylord Weather Warnings'

Frost in September.

much cooler than it normally is mid September! Wont be long until we have several weeks of glorious fall weather rapidly followed by a bunch of old folks saying we skipped fall all together

Frost warning in northern MN this morning too.  But 80 again by tomorrow.  These cool mornings are very refreshing. Its nice not to have to blast the AC all the time anymore.  Looks like some September warmth is on tap.  But at least September warmth isn't like July or August heat.

From NWS:

"MSP has the chance to break a record high temperature of 87 degrees for October 1st. This record dates back to 1897. "

This is getting Riddikulus.

Andy - it gets much above 80 and I reduce my activity - above 85 and I stay in AC...I don't do well in heat.

Typical unstable early October weather in the north woods.

Daily air temps in the 30, the 80's and everything in between.

My trips to Northern Lake Menderchuck can start out wearing a snow suit

and end sporting nothing by a jock strap & a Sailors Cap !

That would be a major violation with the Fashion Police here.

Well I for one  believe that the powers that be really do need to see their way clear to write an exception forth with to these long standing by laws. Laws are made to be broken, and this is one of those times.  Climb out of the dark ages you don't CHa !

Way more too it than that for me.

In this case the wind direction and cloud cover can help promove fisg to come and perhaps stay shallow.

Finally some real "fall" weather here to stay I think.  Had temps as warm as 90 degrees just last Tuesday, then a massive change occurred midweek.  No frost yet, but lows are dipping to around 40 degrees every night now.  I don't see anything but 50's and 60's in the 10 day forecast either.

Amen. For us, last night was the first night with no AC since May. Can't wait for November.
