Which one of these would you choose for a frog rod. I can only choose between 1 of them. Primarily used for frogs, but can double as a flipping and magdraft rod. Alot of people rave about the 7’3 XH for frogs but some say it doesn’t have the tip to walk the frog. That confuses me considering it is a mod-fast. I throw mainly Spro bronzeye 65’s and pop 60’s.

I have the 7'3" XH on the recommendation of the guys at Tactical. I love it. In the warm weather it's a great frog rod and in the cool weather it's my jig rod. I have no problem walking a frog, even smaller ones like the Kaera. It's also very sensitive which helps me detect jig strikes. 

 

It's a great dual purpose rod and I enjoy fishing with it. YMMV

I wholeheartedly agree with Rick, 7'3XH.  Great frog rod.  Great magdraft freestyle, heavy swim jig, heavy jig in cover/pitching rod too.  Way more versatile than I ever thought.  I now have the 7'6XH just for swimbaits and pitching.

I have the 7'3 XH , it can totally work as a frog rod, I use it as my heavy jig rod an love it. I like the 7'3 XH so much I just ordered the 7ft H without handling it based on how impressed I am with the 7'3.

I’ve got the A series 7’ 3” XH EX and it weighs 4.8 oz

I figure the B series is around the same

Thanks. I read somewhere that the B's are a little lighter than the A's. Was curious if that's true or not.

They always say that. Both my a & b 7’3xh weigh the same. They are also amazing.
