You basically power slide them and counter steer. Depending on the situation you will manipulate the throttle. You really need to set up turns in a jet. When I go through really rocky areas and shallow areas I already have my line picked. ahhh...so the original Drift Boat!! 1 Quote
Susky River Rat Posted November 1, 2023 Author Posted November 1, 2023 @Skunkmaster-ki don’t think I am going to. I’ve never named a boat, truck gun or dirt bike. 1 Quote
airshot Posted November 1, 2023 Posted November 1, 2023 22 hours ago, Darnold335 said: @airshot so a jet drive are direct drive. There is no gear box it is forcing water into the impeller for cooling. As far as MPH a tunnel will run slightly slower than a none tunnel jet. The benefit of the tunnel is the jet intake will not hit the hull will take a brunt of the hit. Jets lose about a 20% from s prop motor. So a 115/80 like I have is a 115 outboard if it had a prop on it but, at the jet nozzle it is only 80. A 60/40 is a 60 HP prop motor but, with a jet it’s 40HP. I hope this answers your questions. Yes...many thanks...looks like a fun ride, when are tickets goin up for sale ?? Quote
