PS Nixon is a class act, not a turn coat. His peers are KVD and Roland Martin, there’s a legitimate argument for Nixon as the GOAT 

I tried searching about him winning a classic without an outboard but couldn't find anything. Could you relay the story? or do you know where I could find more of this feat?

It was the final day when he won at Conroe, his motor wouldn’t start so he just dragged a jig around where he was and caught a monster bag to come from way behind and win
