FLMB with water temps in the high 50’s are pre spawn, 60’s looking for males on beds and cruising females. These bass are still feeding and catchable.

I would be using 6” Senko’s in Junebug laminate and 1/2 oz spinnerbait with large gold willow blades, keep it simple.

Anyone having any luck or Rodman? Or would it be better to hit the Chain or Headwaters?

Just saw a vid with Scott Martin who said the big bass wave should be starting on Okeechobee with this warming trend coming up.  I would assume the other lakes will follow.  I hope so, we’re heading to headwaters next Friday for a week and it would be fantastic if the big girls turned on.

I just made it to Palatka, will be fishing Rodman tomorrow…figured why not. Always wanted to fish here. Came up from the panhandle, any areas in Rodman anyone recommends? Closer to dam, or more south of dam

I have had the opportunity to fish the week of Christmas the last several years on the west coast, mostly rivers and the Okeechobee, I have had a fair amount of success on a Texas rigged Zoom plastic worm , no secret there. Dont think they make the worm I really like which is a large paddle tailed worm called "The Big-Dead Ringer".

You might want to take a look at the Yamamoto Swimming Senko.  It’s a bigger paddle tail swimming worm.

Bitters Tackle makes a big paddle tail.
I think Gambler makes one too but it’s smaller.
