44 Tackle in Inverness, FL

I used to live in Buford, and me and my son comes to the area a few times a year for some rock climbing competitions. I’ll have to stop by there next time!

There were some good ones back home in the 80 s ,But there all gone now. Living in Springfield Missouri Bass Pro has everything pretty much sewed up. Not my favorite but they have everything thing you need plus I got a repore with a few guys so it’s not to bad

We have three in the area:

Soddy Custom tackle, Hwy 27, Soddy-Daisy,Tn.

Real Deal, Hwy 27, Dayton, Tn.

Fish Tales, Hwy 60 Birchwood (Cleveland) , Tn.

All have very broad selections, great service.

I have a few custom jigs and hand pours from Soddy Custom. I may have been to Real Deal, but haven’t traveled over toward the Cleveland area..

In the Chattanooga area it’s hard to beat Jack’s and Talkin’ Tackle. Jack’s has a lot of live bait and a good selection of other tackle. Talkin’ Tackle has a ton of knowledge about the local lakes and river, and a great selection of tackle that works in the area. They also guide on local water and boat a ton of fish.

The only place to buy minnows. Great shop. I also go to "Fishtales" in Cleveland, Tn. Tank has loads of tackle. His store puts Bass Pro Shop to shame.

Eastern PA- Wackyworm in Gilbert.

It maybe called Gander Outdoors now?

My local Gander Mountain had a liquidation sale 7 years ago, and changed its name to Gander Outdoor. Then it had another liquidation sale 4 years ago, and closed shop. Those are the two times I shop there. I am cheap like that.

Besides the majority orders through Internet, I still visit my local shops, but mostly for chatting with friends.

Don’t they have like big tubs of bulk soft plastics at that store? I’m pretty sure I have been to it about 10 years ago

Yep

favorite local mom n pop shop is the bass hole

favorite bigger chain with basically everything available, fishermans warehouse

There's quite a few lure/bait makers in my area, so I try to buy from them first. I get all my jigs from a friend here and he makes some of the best jigs ever(and customs ones if you need it), football, swim, etc you name it. Also buy from local stores before I go to some corporate store.

Support your local businesses as much you can, they are a dying breed and deserve your money more than the corporations.
