Swing Away / Fold Away Trailer Hitch
2006 Triton not sure. I thought I was going fishing the other morning. I went to swing the hitch around and it was wobbly. Discovered bolt had sheared off in threaded portion inside of hitch. It broke above the nut. Must have come off during travels. Twenty years old. No hard stops or starts or jerky towing.

Trolling motor battery life?
I used Optima Blue Tops for years. First set, believe it or not lasted nine (9) years. Second set lasted about seven (7) years. I learned they started manufacturing them in Mexico and the quality had suffered. That is what I read. My last set and cranking battery are all X2. A little pricey, great warranty and most importantly, they last all day.

Swing Away / Fold Away Trailer Hitch
Pivot bolt/Hinge bolt sheared off. Anyone ever have this happen? You would think I was speaking a foreign language when I inquired about a replacement bolt at several locations here around Chattanooga. Two places actually perform service work on bass boats. The other was a dedicated specialty truck and trailer repair and sales operation. Could not get any online help. Oh well, guess I will head to the local hardware store in hopes of finding a grade 8 bolt in the correct size. I would love to hear from anyone that has experienced this issue. Sheared bolt, not lack of service. 🤣 thanks in advance.

Scrounger
I have many and not really sure which to use with what. Long bill, short bill? I have read that a straight tail works best. Ledge fishing Tennessee River (Chickamauga) this summer. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

FFS or Mega 360
as I have stated previously, I would buy FFS if I knew which one to buy and a lot of help determining what the heck I'm looking at. I too scan for structure and cover and cast to it.

Which Electronics
very true and great advice. I think I'm guilty of this. I have Birds with MSI & MDI and Mega 360. While I do use these features, I have not mastered them. I rely heavily on my Lakemaster. And I do catch fish. I do not have FFS but would consider if I knew which one to buy and most importantly a tutorial. Good post man.

What do you have tied on in the summer?
football jig. I always have a senko tied on.

So, I tried an A-rig and...
they flat out catch fish. Hog Farmer/Tactical Bassin make a "mini" and a "micro" rig. They are not cheap.

My best day on the Chick
Weather man said 5-10 mph winds. It blew 15-20 mph plus all day. Nevertheless, I managed to boat 8 bass. Smallest was 2.5 lbs and the largest was a 5 pounder. The Zoom 8-inch lizard Texas rigged was the ticket. Along with Neko rig (caught the 5 pounder) and a wacky rig senko.

Most tackle lost
Just last week I lost an A-rig and a Damiki Vault.

Trolling Motor Batteries
I was looking at AGM not lithium. My cranking battery is an X2 . (not lithium) Mercury does not recommend lithium on my model 225 opti max for cranking. A local shop (trustworthy) sells Decca Marine & RV. Presently checking them out. Thanks for your response.

24 Volt Trolling motor batteries
thanks for all of the responses. The batteries have been in a resting state for just over three hours. Voltage is pretty much the same. I thought 12.6 - 12.8 volts were good.

24 Volt Trolling motor batteries
While fishing yesterday it seemed like my trolling motor was a little sluggish. It worked all day with a lot on spot lock. First thought was batteries. After charging overnight I checked the battery voltage on the nine (9) year old Optima Blue Tops. One reading was 12.86 and the other was 13.33 volts. With that said, should I have unplugged boat charger? More accurate reading? I did this and plan on checking in an hour or so. Any help or suggestions much appreciated. Thanks.

Lifejackets for fishing
I was reluctant to purchase an inflatable. I struggled with depending/relying on something to inflate to potentially save my life. I bought a Mustang inflatable to wear while fishing. When running down the lake I wear the Mustang full size non-inflatable.
