  1. I have way too much. Can be overwhelming at times. But, at least it is nice and cool here on the TN-GA-AL line.

I need to make the best cut that I can. Chain saw not an option. The other end of boards (for lack of better term) is under the framed/screened in portion of deck. Previously, I used a circular saw on two boards and did a decent job. I just thought a Sawzall or some other saw would be easier. NOT a carpenter here. Thanks for your input.

Not sure I can narrow it down to one response. All responses were helpful, and I gleaned something from each. This speaks volumes of the forum and more importantly, the members that are willing to help a brother out. Many thanks.
  4. "City Slicker" ever watch it?

Anybody own one. Needing to replace deck boards. Don't need top of the line, but don't want junk. Brand, battery powered or electric? Thanks for any advice.
  8. the wife bought me a guided trip on Lake Chickamauga. I deer hunt, so I went in February. We primarily used the A Rig and small swimbaits. Caught a boat load. In any event, I got the A Rig hung up in brush at least ten times. And the guide did too. The guide used the "Tip's Golden Retriever Lure Retriever" and with little or no effort got each rig back. Got me one. Only used it once. It worked.
  9. once upon a time I got flogged by a rooster. ouch
  10. I almost always have one on a jig. I also use them on a "Pivot Head", "Swivel Head" ball jig.
  11. never had the desire to create a potential "weak link"
  12. Wunderground, WeatherWise, and the Weather Channel. All Free.
  13. I know of a tournament fisherman (for what it's worth) and Big Game is pretty much all he uses. I mean no disrespect, but I do not understand people using the braid to flouro leader. Sure, more sensitivity? Maybe. But why create a weak link? Not to mention the hassle.
  14. Too many to mention. I don't want to just watch someone catch fish or try to promote a particular lure(s) or rod & reel. Tell me all about your presentation and why. To include the specifics of your lure(s). And some talk entirely too much. Maybe they don't get to talk at home. I have gifted the moniker of "Breezy Wind" to several.
  15. great advice, thank you.
  16. well, picture is too large. I cannot figure out how to reduce/resize.
  17. upon further examination, I did locate the spring. it was in the inside of the latch. one end is kinda of stretched. and the spring is loose. I will take a picture tomorrow and post. thanks.
  18. I too use the diablo spec-r for bladed jigs. spinner baits, top water, just to name a few. in fact, I like this one rod so much, I have two. thinking about getting another if I can find one. Discontinued.
  19. upon examination, my trailer winch does not have a spring
  20. Oh yes, I sure do. I appreciate the heads up.
  21. Tackle Warehouse has them in stock
  22. I fish the super fluke weightless and I like the double fluke rig or donkey rig. just a pain securing to rod when not using. Also, you may want to try the Xzone Whiplash shad.
