My tackle hoard

Featured Replies

Kinda bored today it’s almost 100 feels like and bluebird sky’s here in Iowa today. So I cut the lawn and hiding inside now. Thought I’d share my small tackle hoard. I don’t keep a ton of stuff laying around I won’t use. And I’ve been trying hard to clean out what I don’t use anymore. Honestly for next season I probably won’t buy much of anything over winter except jig heads for tying jigs. Maybe a couple packs of plastics.

Haha.  Exactly the same here. Nasty humid.  I cut my lawn too and then went straight to the basement to recover.

Well...I Intended on using everything I ever bought; I'm just behind 💁‍♂️

Yep, a heat advisory over here as well.

Feels like 105 right now.

I’m doing some organization planning as well. Lol

I like your rod holder, what brand is it? My basement doesn’t have tall ceilings so I might get a smaller rod holder for some of my longer rods to have upstairs.

My wife found it on Amazon for my birthday. I’ll see if she can find it in her order history. ( god knows that’s pages behind now she loves Amazon) mine doesn’t have tall ceilings either. A 7’3” rod just makes it with the holder lol.

I was gonna save this kinda crap for winter. But oh well. I’ll probably do it all over again then lol.

Very nicely organized. I'm not so organized. I do have a rod holder on the ceiling I made though that has really helped with rods. I need to get me one of them cabinets. Sure beats the boxes I've been using.

I’ve had reusable grocery store bags, cardboard boxes, milk crates all kinda crap lol. Found this guy at Walmart. It’s a plastic dresser lol

I wish I was that clean and organized, my garage is chaos

My garage in Florida looked like a bomb went off between kayaks and fishing stuff. Since moving  to Iowa. All the saltwater tackle and rods are gone. I sold kayaks before moving. And I’ve really whittled down my bass stuff. It just got to the point where I’m never ever gonna use all this and honestly I felt like I was wasting money lol

I have way too much. Can be overwhelming at times. But, at least it is nice and cool here on the TN-GA-AL line.

Was your way a couple hours ago. Wife works in Chatt some and we live in Huntsville. It was a pleasant-ish day today all things considered…

Very nicely organized -- I admire your discipline.

I've got stuff semi-haphazardly packed into plano boxes, crates, trays, and bags on four shelves that take up half of a closet in my office room....and then a few boxes of misc. stuff I've never gotten around to finding a home for.

I too wish I was that organized. Have a “man room” as my wife has named it, a shed, and a boat in varying degrees of disarray. Then there’s the loose stuff in the truck, the garage, and the spinnerbait hanging from the tree in the front yard.

lol I’m only this organized because the basement is kinda a family room. My daughter’s friends are over down there with her. They are all young. And if I use the garage. The 100 degree summers and negative 0 winters I hate moving stuff back and forth. And believe me the one drawer that isn’t just soft plastic pack is already a disaster lol
