  1. 5–6-inch swimbaits. I throw magdrafts with the Orochi XX Perfect Pitch works well for me.
  2. Me too, especially, the Jackall TN 70. thanks
  3. wow, thanks for all the responses, as always, great advice. I appreciate it. Like most of you, I suspect, I don't need any more reels, I just want a couple more Shimano's.
  4. what gear ratio do you prefer for lipless crankbaits? Jackall TN 70/LV 500. And while I'm inquiring, I might as well get your opinion on small square bills. ATV 1.5. I'll be thanking you.
  5. Not sure how to do that. Unless you are talking about taking picture or video with iPhone. Additionally, not sure when I can get back out on the lake. I got food plots to put out in Tn. Ky. and In. Thank you.
  6. thanks for the response. I knew this would be difficult to explain. Essentially, stationary targets are not displayed on graph in relation to where they actually are. I know unequivocally there is a laydown 20 feet directly in front of my boat, however, my 360 might show it to port, starboard or aft of boat instead of dead ahead.
  7. Had subject installed on boat earlier this year. I believe it is the newest version, not in position to check at this point. I will try my best to explain what I experienced all day yesterday while fishing. I found two (2) big trees or logs in lake. I could not see any branches. In any event they were not moving. I viewed them on SI and DI. However, when I located them with my Mega 360 and attempted to line up on them, the graph would show them in different positions. They were dead ahead of me and I would move really slow toward them. At one point they would be displayed to starboard, then port and behind me on display. I tried this numerous times on other stationary objects with the same results. I hope this makes sense. Any thoughts? Thanks.
  8. very true. The Chick gets pounded. Not just by fisherman. The recreational boaters in the summer months are insane. If you go, keep your head on a swivel. Big yachts coming out of the big marina will swamp you. Not to mention the wake boats. Not relaxing at all.
  9. I know Matt Allen from Tactical Bassin promotes the color "June Bug". If you select and buy something from his Tackle Warehouse link, he receives a percentage. I have watched several tubers that do this, admittingly.
  10. Leeboy replied to snowplow's topic in Fishing Tackle
I also rig with Core Tackle Hover Rig or Ultimate Swimbait head.
  11. The only place to buy minnows. Great shop. I also go to "Fishtales" in Cleveland, Tn. Tank has loads of tackle. His store puts Bass Pro Shop to shame.
  12. I can believe it. I'm so pleased that I could help.
  13. That makes absolutely no sense at all. I subscribe to numerous hunting and fishing and RV forums, and NONE do this. I suspect most if not all users scroll down to bottom of a page before selecting to go to the next. No big deal. It is nevertheless, antithetical. I feel certain that is how it is was designed and intended to work. Thanks. could possibly be my laptop. It has done this from day one. Just thought it was odd. No big deal, I can live with it.
  14. While viewing/reading posts on this forum and I select to go to the next page, I am always directed to the bottom of the next page instead of the top. Does anyone else experience this? Slight inconvenience. Thanks.
  15. I use the tension knob when I change lures, to ensure I achieve the desired "rate of fall" for the lure selected. I thought everyone did this. Additionally, prior to spooling new line I adjust the tension knob to ensure there is no side-to-side play in spool. Which should help prevent line from bunching to one side. Again, I thought everyone did this. Nevertheless, duly noted. I appreciate your response.
  16. I did. I stated that I switched the tension knobs because I had two identical reels. Thanks for your response.
  17. I have two (2) Abu Garcia RV03 Winch casting reels for deep crankbaits. While spooling with line and making adjustments the tension knob would not tighten down on one of the baitcasters and lure would essentially free fall to ground. It would tighten the spool up enough where there was no wiggle in spool. I switched the knobs out since they are identical reels...to no avail. Any suggestions? Cannot find reel repair here in Chattanooga. Thanks. Additionally, which would you prefer for the aforementioned presentation: Abu Garcia Revo Winch LP (5.4:1) or Shimano Curado 300K (4.7:1) thanks again, have a HOT and safe Independence Day. No way I'm going out on the Chick today. However, there is some comfort knowing that our Tennessee Wildlife Resource Agency (TWRA) officers will make their usual "cameo" appearance today.
  18. Did anyone participate in subject program? And as a result, received a Humminbird prepaid Mastercard? Well, I did. I bought a new Helix 12 and Mega 360. Accordingly, I received two cards. One for $400.00 and the other for $500.00. Subsequently, I placed an order with Tackle Warehouse. Card was denied. Long story short, Tackle Warehouse is not on the approved "Merchant List". The gentleman I spoke with at TW stated I wasn't the first denial. I have been trying for days, jumping through hoops to try to get/view the aforementioned list. No luck. I figured a gift debit card could be used anywhere. I guess Humminbird is getting a kick back from the folks on the approved Merchant List to help offset the cost of the cards. Anyone else? Thanks.
  19. Thanks guys, I do appreciate it.
  20. Considering buying the Megabass Orochi Jerkbait Special or the Shimano Expride B. I have read numerous reviews and still undecided. Anyone have experience with aforementioned rods using both a jerkbait and topwater lure? Thanks for any suggestions.
  21. I use both. One while running and the other while fishing. An older gentleman recently drowned on Chickamauga Lake when he fell overboard. He wasn't alone, not wearing PFD. Full details not released. Maybe suffered heart attack.
  22. I like the way you guys think. I was planning on trying to sell for 40 and 45. Thanks for the advice, much appreciated.
