Not fishing!  I’m just giving up a trick I’ve used for decades.  Don’t knock it until you try it grasshopper.

Wonder how a twin-tail would work?

(things to add to next year's 'try it' list)

Great idea! @Columbia Craw: have you tried other colored tails for variety or have you always had the color of the tail and crankbait.

How cool of you to mention this. I fished for about 30 minutes this evening floating raps and then inline spinners. It was already night when I got desperate to try to catch a fish and too dark to cutoff the duolock snap to try another. I had a 3-4” senior type worm (might have been a singer) and set it wacky on the inline spinner’s single siwash hook. My plan was to make the blade of the spinner to its thing on every pop and hop. I did not catch anything but I am going to experiment and fine tune this next year. The bass window in the Seattle area from the shore is closing so I’ll have the winter to do this.

I use white and soft chartreuse as well.  I used to run a black Spence Scout and white grub with good results. If you are a co angler it comes in handy.

In our Everglades massive flats, I took a Rapala Broken Back floater and removed the front treble, and removed the back end. Replaced the back end with a #4 WGH and put a grub Texas Rigged on the back.  Went through the 3 feet of water and thick weeds with ease.  Still had the wiggle of the broken back and would float in holes in the thick cover.  A fun catching machine!
