It hasn’t been proven he intentionally broke the rules. Innocent until proven guilty .

Rules aside, I can’t see how getting info is worse than using something that actually sees fish.  🤷🏼‍♂️

He took the coward’s way out and quit before they could complete an investigation. That’s all you need to know right there.

If the only way to enforce a rule is with a polygraph test, than the rule should not be be a rule.  Either find a way to write the no information rules that allow for fair enforcement, or don't have t

This is the question I have been trying to ask. Why is this informants word being taken as truth and Scott being the one having to prove innocence.

"This person said you did this, now prove you didn't" I'd be upset too

Scott said outright in a FB post that he talked to the guy about water conditions in surrounding waters near this upcoming Elite event. He said he gave him waypoints on KY lake in exchange. He also said that he didn’t even know the guy! Sounds like trading info to me. Why would he talk to someone he doesn’t know, like he did, if it were not to get info?? Let’s be clear, I’m not singling SM out because they pretty much all do it.

No lol, no it’s not.

You don’t get to provide your own. Maybe you are lucky in that you are self employed. But everything about Scott’s behavior is a red flag.

And there is like a 30 minute video of him out there soliciting help on Okeechobee that plenty of credible people have seen and attested to.

No need to polygraph when you have things on writing, text or a video. What a stupid question.

I know this is the internet and you can hide behind an avatar but please chill out with your online bravery when addressing me.

It's not a stupid question. Innocent until proven guilty is the way the world works. If someone says he is cheating then it needs to be proven not the other way around.

Mostly this.

Not sure if anybody had told Scott or not, but he made a video saying he didn’t violate the solicitation of information rule by telling a story of him calling a guy in North Carolina trying to solicit information from him.

First he says:

“I texted a buddy”

then he says:

”I don’t even know the guy”

Then he sends Kentucky Lake waypoints to the guy he doesn’t know. But it turns out those aren’t even Scott’s waypoints.

The guy who gave Scott the waypoints somehow becomes alerted to his waypoints being passed around and then presumably that person then blew the whistle.

How much tournament experience do you have ? Just wondering if you have ever been around .

Sounds like you have a lot of anger towards someone you don't know

I wasn’t even responding to you.

Innocent until proven guilty is how our justice system works in legal matters.

In this case he quit before they could finish the proven part.

I would gladly say all of this in face to face discussion and you have yet to make any point that is solid or has any sort of basis in reality or fact.

I’m just a fan. And you don’t need any tournament experience to see the level of wrongness and impropriety here.

How close to Scott are you? You seem to be putting a bunch of effort defending a guy who is clearly guilty.

Calling people's legitimate questions stupid is a bit uncalled for if you ask me. I thought the rules here were to respect each other?

Go ahead and put this one to bed @Glenn, @TnRiver46 or other moderators. Scott admitted to the Lake O infraction, dropped out of the Elites prior to the investigation being closed and clearly stating that he probably could not pass the official B.A.S.S. polygraph. There’s nothing else to be gleaned from this unless some bombshell is released. End it before it gets ugly.

Never met him, just like you. But, you can always stand on a pond bank somewhere and pretend that cast you just made matters. You sound jealous to me

Don't quit now tough guy.

There is no jealousy. Just astounded at how many people are literally choosing to come to the wrong conclusion. Luke made a great point about the buzzards.

In your mind it’s wrong.  What has Luke Dunkin ever won ? Without you YouTube, he would be irrelevant.
Last I saw he was fishing the ABT big deal I can do that

This topic is circling the drain.  Some of you question why we close these things down "early".  It's because we've seen this dozens of times over, and know where it's headed.  And it ain't pretty.

Aaaand scene....
