Spinning tackle: Stradic 2500FH

Baitcasting: Curado 200DHSV (2007)

X2 on the Curado 200DHSV, I have one and I like it alot

I agree with Roadwarrior but don't overlook the Curado 100. It's smaller and a bit lighter. I would try them both at the store to see which you prefer.

I'm with everybody else so far.... one of the curados.   ;)

on the Curado, it really depends on what you're going to use it for. The 7:1 reel is more specialized in my view (great for buzzbaits, burning traps). I tend to use the 6:1 version (100 size) more, plus the 100 is considerably lighter and smaller, which matters when fishing all day.

Like Risk Kid said, go get your hands on them, and see what you like best.

You can't go wrong with a Curado. It's a workhorse of a reel.

again for the 200DHSV.  For me personally, i can slow down the retrieve of a 7 to 1 ratio reel, i cant speed up a 5 to 3 or 6 to 3 ratio reel.  thats just me.  I have 3 of the 200dhsv's and i love them.  they are a larger reel but i like the leverage it gives me.  Gives me something to hold on to!!
