2 occupants emerged from the wreck. One had a broken collar bone, but otherwise they were unscathed. Incredible.

Used to see that quite often at the Regatta on the Ohio.

Two years ago I saw one of these boats on Mille Lacs when I was fishing in late May.  This thing was LOUD.  It was miles away from me but I could hear the thunderous roar of an engine when it began its trek crossing 20 miles of open water.  I just watched in amazement as that thing went across the horizon from north to south in a few minutes.

Every year there's a jet boat convention at my local pond. 150+ screaming loud, fast boats, roaring all over the lake all day long for 3 days.  It's extremely annoying at best, but then you mix in gallons of beer, and it's a disaster waiting to happen.

 

I stay off the water during that time.

I have never understood mixing beer and watersports. Isn't the water enough? It is for me. 

When you want to fish all 5 Great Lakes.
