I personally have used a big variety of different Googan soft baits, mostly because I am based in Texas so you can find their baits in almost any outdoors store (bass pro, academy, scheels, dicks) and most smaller tackle shops as well. I have found the bandito bug and krackin craw pretty efficient and I have never had anything bad to say about Googan. Im wondering what everyone here on BassResource thinks of em!

Thanks Y’all!

They are great!  As good as anything else out there IMHO.

The bandito bug straight gets bit!  Big fan of the scout, clutch and banger hard baits also when they're on some kind of super sale.

I only buy their stuff on sale and I've never really found it to be bad!

I’ve seen no indication that Googan is anything more than a marketing and branding company.  They don’t manufacture their baits and probably don’t design them.  I don’t buy from these companies if I can help it because I don’t think add any value to what I’m buying.  That doesn’t mean the products aren’t any good.  They’re probably manufactured in the same factories that make the products I do use.

I only use a few brands; Yamamoto, Roboworm (Missle made by Roboworm), Jackall Flick Shake, Berkley Power and Chigger craws. Iovino no longer in business and Uptons big worms rarely,

No reason to add another brand!

I tried the Bandito Bug. OK, not great. A little too thin and fragile for my taste.

I only ever see folks teasing them. And making memes and such. But they are still in business. The stuff can’t be that bad? And I hear about that bandito bug everywhere lol. I see them on sale a lot around me.

@Joedodge it’s probably because Googan Squad group of YouTubers, who founded the brand, rub people the wrong way. I’ve never used Googans baits, as my soft plastic game is pretty dialed in and there is rarely a new plastic that catches my eye, but I just assumed they are similar to any other soft plastic brand at their price point.

Oh yeah I forgot all about that. That’s probably exactly why.
