I have Piscifun Serpent rod with a Fuji ACSM reel seat, and found it to be the best palming seat I have ever used. I want to get more rods with this seat, but can't find any online. Are there any out there? Or any similar alternative reel seats? Thanks1

I wish i could give it to you for free on all the rods i ever had this reel seat. By far, this is the reel seat i dislike the most. This reel seat killed the Major Craft Corzza for me. Amazing rod, especially for the price you could get em from Japan, but that FUJI acsm was 🤢

 My favorite rod Quantum Smoke has acs seat very comfortable wish all my rods had acs.

If you have a decent tackle shop near you try asking them for help, if not I’m not sure if this is close or not as I’m trying to see where the trigger lines up in your other post but this one appears similar.

Doesn’t Cashion still use that reel seat?

really? Why did you think that? I love this reel seat because it is the one with the trigger closest to the reel and I feel like I can palm this one the best

It just feel uncomfy. I don't know the reasoning, maybe that bump section, but i can never feel like my hand is sitting well on those reel seats.

I found one I was eyeballing.  visually looks like a good looking rod.

The acs seat is a love it or hate it proposition as you see. 

@Delaware Valley Tackle, yup. When I first started building rods someone mentioned ACS seats as being the most comfortable. I think I built 4 rods with that seat. It was fine. 

 

At some point I am reading a post that mentions ECS seats being the most comfortable. Well, at much cheaper price I tried the ECS seat which was also fine. 

 

I have been using ECS seat simply because of the cost and I'm guessing it is a little lighter. 

 

@alphv buy custom rods or build your own and you can have a Fuji ACS seat on every rod you own. 

 

 

Dobyns does and the Edge Delta series switched to the acsm last October.  I like it because of the manner in which I palm the reel.

which dobyns models? I can't seem to find any

Champion, Kaden, Sierra, Fury, Frenzy, Maverick.  Alpha Anglers also uses that reel seat.  The Champion Xtreme is painted with a custom lock nut hood.

I actually have the kaden but I much prefer the acsm seat as the trigger is a lot closer to the reel
